Coverage comes first

A 4G camera depends on the signal where it’s mounted. Before ordering, stand at the planned spot and check your phone’s reception, keeping in mind that rural coverage can drop behind hills, trees and metal buildings. Even full bars on your phone don’t guarantee the camera’s SIM will connect there.

The box includes an EIOTCLUB SIM card kit, which the camera is listed as compatible with. We can’t confirm which networks it uses in your area, so check coverage and plan options with EIOTCLUB for your address before you mount anything. Cellular cameras use mobile data, so factor that into running costs.

Solar through a Canadian winter

The panel is separate from the camera, so you can aim it at the sun while the lens points where you need it. A south-facing spot clear of shade charges best. Winter days are short and snow settles on panels, so brush it off after storms. The housing is designed to handle rain, snow and rough weather.

Night vision and pan/tilt control
