Eligibility and accounts

To place an order, you must have reached the age of majority in your province or territory, or have permission from a parent or guardian, and have a shipping address in Canada. You can check out as a guest or create an account. If you create one, keep your password confidential and tell us right away if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

Product information

We work to describe products accurately, using information provided by manufacturers. Figures such as battery life, suction and energy efficiency are manufacturer claims, and real-world results vary. Product images are for illustration, and colours can look different on different screens. You’re responsible for confirming that a product suits your needs before buying, including network compatibility with your carrier for phones, and dimensions, doorways and electrical requirements for TVs and large appliances. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.

Prices and taxes

Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before tax. GST, HST, PST or QST is calculated at checkout based on your shipping province. Shipping charges are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change won’t affect an order we’ve already accepted. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount charged, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

Orders and acceptance

After you place an order, we send an email confirming that we’ve received it. Your order is accepted when we ship it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there’s a pricing or listing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you’ve been charged, we’ll refund the full amount.

Payment

We accept payment by card through our secure online checkout. Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. By submitting payment, you confirm that you’re authorized to use the card and you authorize us to charge the order total.

Shipping and delivery

We ship to addresses in Canada only. Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and delivered in 3–7 business days depending on your province. Delivery times are estimates. Standard shipping is $14.99, and orders over $99 ship free. Risk of loss passes to you when your order is delivered. Full details are in our shipping policy.

Returns and refunds

You can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days from delivery. Defective items are handled under our warranty. The returns and refunds policy explains the process.

Warranty

Gadget Canada provides a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, as described on our warranty page. Apart from that limited warranty and any warranties that can’t be excluded under applicable law, products are sold without additional warranties from Gadget Canada.

Reviews and your content

Product reviews can only be posted by verified buyers. Reviews must be honest, lawful and about the product. We may moderate or remove content that is abusive, misleading, off-topic or infringes someone else’s rights. By posting a review, you give us permission to display it on our website.

Intellectual property and trademarks

The content on this website, including text, graphics and layout, belongs to Gadget Canada or its licensors, and you may not copy it for commercial use without permission. Xiaomi, REDMI, Mijia and other brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. Gadget Canada is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with these brands.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its security or operation, or to access it with automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Gadget Canada is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or products, and our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some provinces, including Quebec, don’t allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law
