The S60 dual dash cam records the road ahead and behind at the same time, in 2.5K QHD (4.0 MP) at the front and 1080P Full HD at the rear. A 170° front lens and a bright f/1.8 aperture make it a good match for Canadian drivers who spend their week on multi-lane highways and much of the winter commuting in the dark. This open-box unit is $69.99.
The kit has two cameras. The front camera carries the 2.5K lens and a built-in screen, while the rear camera plugs in with its own connection cable and watches what happens behind you, from a tailgater on the highway to a bump in a mall parking lot. Both channels record together, so you see the whole incident.
According to the manufacturer, the 170° view covers up to four lanes of traffic. On a road like Highway 401 or Autoroute 40, that width helps catch a car cutting across from two lanes over, and the 2.5K resolution is aimed at recording licence plates and road signs clearly, day or night.
Between November and March, plenty of commutes start before sunrise and end after sunset. The f/1.8 lens and 4.0 MP sensor are designed to keep footage clear and detailed in low light. A camera can only record what it can see, though, so clear frost and snow from the windshield and rear window before you set off, and wipe away the salt film that builds up on highway trips.
With loop recording, the oldest unprotected footage is replaced once storage is full. When the G-sensor detects a shock or collision, it automatically locks the current clip so it can’t be overwritten. A memory card isn’t listed in the box contents, so check the manual for the supported card type and capacity before you buy one.
Parking surveillance can keep an eye on the car while it’s parked, but it requires a continuous-power hardwiring kit, which isn’t included. Out of the box, the S60 runs from the supplied car charger adapter in your cigarette lighter socket.
Both are $69.99 in our Open Box Dash Cams section, yet they suit different drivers.

Choose the S60 if sharper forward footage and a wide highway view matter most. The TOGUARD CE50X mirror dash cam makes more sense if you want reversing help and nothing extra on the windshield.
Position the front camera so it doesn’t block your view of the road, usually high on the glass behind the rear-view mirror. Check your province’s rules on windshield-mounted devices, and do all setup while parked. Footage can help you show what happened, but we can’t promise how an insurer or police service will treat it.
Open box means the box has been opened and the camera isn’t sealed-new. We inspect and test it before it ships, and our Open Box grading guide explains how these items are handled. You’re covered by a 90-day limited warranty and 30-day returns. Shipping is $14.99, or free on orders over $99.

Yes. It records two channels simultaneously: 2.5K QHD (4.0 MP) from the front camera and 1080P Full HD from the rear camera, which connects to the front unit with the included cable.
A memory card isn't listed in the box contents. Check the manual for the supported card type and maximum capacity, or email support@gadgetcanada.ca and we'll help you pick a suitable card.
It has a parking surveillance mode, but that mode needs a continuous-power hardwiring kit, which isn't included. With only the supplied car charger adapter, plan on using it as a driving recorder.
Its f/1.8 lens is designed for clearer footage on dark winter commutes. Our product information doesn't list an operating temperature range, so ask our team if your car sits outside in deep cold, and clear frost and snow from the windows so both cameras have a clear view.
