Is up to 3 days of battery life realistic on the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G?
Up to 3 days of worry-free use is the manufacturer's claim. Your results will depend on screen brightness, signal strength, how much you stream or game, and temperature, since cold weather temporarily reduces the usable capacity of any lithium-ion battery. Heavy users should expect less, but the 10,000 mAh battery gives you a large buffer either way.
Do I need a special charger to get 100 W HyperCharge?
Reaching the top charging speed generally requires a compatible charger and cable. With a lower-wattage charger, expect slower charging, because speed is limited by the weakest part of the setup. Email support@gadgetcanada.ca if you'd like us to confirm what's in the box before you order.
Should I choose the Pro Max or the REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G?
Both offer 5G and HyperCharge. The Pro Max steps up to a 10,000 mAh battery and 100 W charging, compared with 8,340 mAh and 67 W on the Pro. If you often end the day with little charge left or spend long stretches away from outlets, the Pro Max is the safer choice. If you charge every night, the Pro may be all you need.
Will a power bank charge the Pro Max at 100 W?
Not with the power banks we carry. A power bank can only deliver its own rated output, such as 22.5 W or 18 W, so charging is slower than at the wall. Also keep in mind that a 10,000 mAh power bank won't fully refill a 10,000 mAh phone because some energy is lost in conversion; a 20,000 mAh model gives more margin for long trips.
